These indeterminate F1 hybrid tomato varieties are produced in Holland. They should be pruned when grown in a greenhouse. Our technical manual (Item # 9P098) offers tips on their culture and pruning technique. F1 hybrids are grown in a greenhouse. The pollen from one parent is manually transferred to the second parent. The seed from this parent plant is the F1 hybrid you are purchasing. The germination rate of these varieties ranges from 85% to 100%

matures to a rich red color with an average weight of 8 ounces. It is resistant to tomato mosaic virus, cladosporium mold races A thru E, verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt races 1 and 2, fusarium crown root rot, and generally does not have green shoulder. It has an outstanding flavor.

BLITZ
Uniform ripening, strong vigor, average fruit weight is 7 to 10 ounces (200-280 grams). This is a light sensitive variety. Plant density should not be too tight early on. This variety has shown to be strong in the summer heat. It also has performed well in fall crops.

GRACE
New for 1998. Powdery mildew tolerant variety with vigor between that of Trust and Blitz. This variety sets fruit easily. Fruits are very smooth and round averaging 6 to 8.5 ounces (180-240 grams). Lacks silvering tolerance.

Pre-Tom Stain Preventer
Stain preventer: When you work a lot with tomato plants, you notice the green color from the plant is nearly impossible to remove and can remain on your fingers for days. When you rub 5 drops of Pre-Tom on your hands before working with tomato plants, the color is gone when you wash your hands after you are done. An excellent answer to this age old problem that is used by many commercial growers.
