SENSAPHONE

Temperature and Alarm Monitor Reports 'In English" Over
the Phone and On-Site!! Automatically reacts to programmed alarm limits by phoning, in
sequence, up to four phone numbers. It will call these numbers in sequence until the
message is acknowledged. The Synthesized English message includes:
+ The Sensaphone I.D. Number
+ The Type of Alarm Situation
+ The Time
+ The Ambient Temperature
+ The Power Status
+ The Sound Level
+ The Alert Status
+ The Battery Condition |
| The Sensaphone combines modern electronic solid
state technology with your existing telephone system to provide an around the clock
monitoring and alarm system. While you are absent from your greenhouse, the Sensaphone
monitors ambient conditions and three electrical contacts. In the event of AC power
failure, 6 "D" batteries (not included) take over for up to 15 hours. When
greenhouse conditions fall outside the parameters you have established, the Sensaphone
will call up to 4 telephone numbers in sequence until a telephone is answered. The
answering party has 30 seconds to call the Sensaphone back to deactivate this calling
feature. The Sensaphone requires a dedicated telephone line. It will not call the
line it is attached to, or to a "party-line".
You can call the Sensaphone at any time to verify the conditions in your greenhouse.
When it answers your call, it will reply in synthesized English with the same information
previous described, plus the values of the high and low ambient temperature parameters
programmed.
The Sensaphone comes with a 'local temperature sensor' that will read the temperature
at its location. To get the Sensaphone to report the current temperature
within the
greenhouse, you should purchase the waterproof 'Remote Temperature Sensor'. This will allow you to
read temperatures as far as 250' away from the Sensaphone location. (Bell Wire is not
included.) |
