Bibb varieties. Qualities such as extreme resistance to bolting and tip-burn, exceptionally long shelf life and suitability to many types of culture under glass, tunnels, in soil and hydroponic systems, have resulted in these varieties attaining the very high standard they has today. They handle high temperatures in mid Summer as well as short day conditions.

LAUREL          Pelleted (Pills) Lettuce Seed

Laurel: Bibb variety. An excellent Summer variety, does not bolt during long days and shows no tipburn under poor growing conditions. A compact, solid variety with an attractive well-closed base. Approx. 90% germination at 70oF day & nights. Salina is uniform, medium green color, tipburn tolerant.
Resistant to BL 1-4,6,7,10,13-15

It takes about 2 weeks to get a lettuce seedling ready to transplant. The lettuce will be ready to harvest in 4 - 5 weeks from transplant during the summer and 7 -8 weeks from transplant during the winter.
