Laurel:
Bibb variety. An excellent Summer variety, does not bolt
during long days and shows no tipburn under poor growing
conditions. A compact, solid variety with an attractive
well-closed base. Approx. 90% germination at 70oF
day & nights. Salina is uniform, medium green color,
tipburn tolerant.
Resistant to BL 1-4,6,7,10,13-15
It takes about 2 weeks to get a lettuce seedling
ready to transplant. The lettuce will be ready to
harvest in 4 - 5 weeks from transplant during the summer
and 7 -8 weeks from transplant during the winter. |
