Designed with next-generation magnetic-rotor technology, Rio® & Rio Plus Aqua Pump/Powerheads offer the best high-performance solutions. Biggest and most powerful models provide excellent performance within wet or dry filters and when high pressure and flow rates are needed. Reliable and quiet, Rio® & Rio Plus Aqua Pump/Powerheads do not use oil to operate so they cannot contaminate the water.

Rio pumps are energy efficient, keeping electrical bills affordable and operate with low-heat while providing excellent water flow rates! The Rio pumps have a ceramic shaft and durable high impact plastic making the Rio pump not only reliable and long lasting but hard to match in quality and price.

All pumps are sealed with a lifetime oil supply, and have an 8' cord with 3 prong molded plug, and screened intakes. All the small pumps have an epoxy painted cast iron housing. The CIA and CIM pumps sit on polypropylene base and have a polycarbonate cover. 5W339 (6CIA) and 5W341 (8CIA) pumps automatically shut off when the water level drops below the pump head. Manufactures model numbers are listed. For maximum lift (Max. Head), multiply PSI by 2.31.
