DIFtrol 24 Temperature Control

Controls 2 stages of heating and 4 stages of cooling using a temperature sensor and a light sensor that detects daytime.

The DIFtrol detects sunrise and counts 23.5 hours to declare that to be sunrise of the following day. It then will switch to the SUNRISE (DIF) set point temperature before the plants first perceive light. Two hours after sunrise, the DIFtrol will switch to the DAYTIME set point temperature. At sunset, it will switch to the NIGHT set point temperature.

Set points for DAY and NIGHT can be set in 1⁰F increments between 29⁰F and 115⁰F. The DIF temp. can be set from 0⁰F to plus or minus 30⁰F with respect to the NIGHT set point.

The temp. between stages are set independently in 1⁰F increments from 1⁰F to 15⁰F.

Time delays of 1 to 15 minutes may be set between changes of the outputs to prevent rapid cycling.

The DIFtrol has an Exhaust-at-Sunset feature which will dehumidify the greenhouse before nightfall.

The precise temperature sensor and DIFtrol circuits make temperature readings to 1/2⁰F over the range from 52⁰F to 100⁰F.

All the easy to understand instructions are embossed on the faceplate with an easy-to-read LED digital display.

Operates from 120VAC and delivers 24VAC at a maximum current of 1.5 amps to switch relays and contactors.

Tstat24 Temperature Control

The Tstat24 replaces mechanical thermostats in greenhouses to give more coordinated and better control of all the heating, ventilating and cooling equipment. The Tstat24 will eliminate the problem of the first stage of heating and the first stage of cooling running at the same time.

The Tstat24 will control 2 stages of heating, 4 stages of cooling and the circulation fans (HAF). It is designed to upgrade your greenhouse from mechanical thermostats to electronic precision. The Tstat24 has one Temperature Reference point. Easy to use and set, temperatures are set several degrees from the temperature reference point with dip switches. It includes a precision sensor with an accuracy of + or - 1 degree F over the range of 26 to 105. An alarm output will signal if the temperature of the greenhouse goes more than 10 deg F above or below the last heating or last cooling stages. The sensor may be located up to 200 feet from the controller.
